Name: Basilpaw[/u]
Age: 9 moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: Riverclan
Desired Position: Apprentice
Short Description:A light tabby bengal tom with dark amber eyes
Full Description:
x.x skeletal structure
Basilpaw is an average sized apprentice, if not on a smaller side. His shoulders are quite broad which gives him the appearance of being larger then his size truly is. That was a hereditary trait passed on from his father who had a similar bone structure to Basilpaw. Overall Basilpaw has a relatively normal bone structure. His face has the typical triangular shape that narrows into the muzzle with a broad forehead. His body thins out gradually following his shoulders. His spine, which is slightly longer then a normal cats, extends about an inch past normal length. This lengthened spine, in turn, lengthens his tail which reaches almost past his own body length. His legs are built for running, with long forelimbs allowing him for greater ground coverage. His paws are large for the rest of his body, mirroring his broad shoulders. Some like to say that Basilpaw is out of proportion slightly. The differences in structure that frame Basilpaw are so minuscule that they are hard to point out unless one is specifically searching for them.
x.x coat and fur color
Basilpaw, unfortunately, has a rather thick coat which makes summer time one of the more uncomfortable seasons for him. However, having a thick coat has it's perks during leaf-bare when having thermal protection is a must. As far as his coat pattern, it resembles a mixture of bengal patterning and tabby markings. The original tabby "M" marks his forehead directly between his eyes while the cheek stripes strike bold black horizontal lines across his face. A dorsal mark descends down the length of his spine painting a line of black along his back. Emerging from the dorsal line down his back are a mixture of black lines and spots that decorate his sides which in turn fade into a light brown color as they near his legs. His paws are mirror opposites of each other. The front two paws are black like his markings while the back two paws are a creamy white. Basilpaw's underbelly and chest are a lightly cream color.
x.x eye color
Basilpaw's eyes are unique in a way. Many cats have amber eyes yet there's something about Basilpaw's that strikes one as odd. Perhaps it's the flecks of lighter gold in them that signal oddity, or perhaps it's just the dark amber shade. Either way, Basilpaw's eyes are something not quite unqiue yet not completely normal.
Personality:
x.x strangers
Basilpaw is not the friendliest cat out there. Not that he is the absolute cruelest either. If one were to score Basilpaw on a one to ten on sociability and overall friendliness, Basilpaw would most likely score a mediocre 5. When met with strangers, Basilpaw either ignores them or simple tells them what they need to be told. In truth, Basilpaw can be slightly shy when face with a group of strangers. He doesnt like particularly social scenes which makes gatherings torturous for him. Basilpaw prefers to spend his days perfecting his fighting techniques.
x.x friends[/u]
If someone manages to befriend Basilpaw, then kudos to them. Due to his aversion to social scenes, Basilpaw doesnt have very many cats he can actually call friends. Sure he has clanmates, but no true friends. When approached with anything that could possibly turn into something like friendship, Basilpaw backs out. It's not that he doesn't like companionship, it's just that he's a pessimist. He's always picturing what could happen to him or ways that befriending someone could hurt him in the future.
x.x clanmates[/u]
With his clan, Basilpaw is polite and courteous. He attempts to play at the respectful apprentice who only wishes to become a better warrior.
x.x basilpaw's dark side[/u]
Everyone has a dark side or some sort of skeleton in their closet. For Basilpaw, it's his pessimism. He's almost always viewing the bad side of life instead of the positive things. [/blockquote]
